Train station
We recommend traveling by train. Hildesheim is conveniently located on the ICE route Frankfurt-Berlin. The Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim is approximately 800 m from the ICE train station. This corresponds to a 10-minute walk through the pedestrian zone. A suburban train stop towards Hanover is also available.

The city of Hildesheim offers free public transport Saturdays within the entire city area until the end of the year. On these days, all buses (SVHI and RVHI) in the Hildesheim price level (PS HI) can be used without a ticket from 00:00 to 24:00.
