When is Stadtschenke open?

Stadtschenke is open Sunday to Thursday from 5:00 pm to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am.

When is the Cigar Lounge open?

Our Cigar Lounge is accessible during the day throughout the regular restaurant opening hours and is directly connected to Stadtschenke in the evening.

Is there daytime service in the Cigar Lounge?

There is no separate service in the Cigar Lounge during the day. Drinks can, however, be ordered through our restaurant team.

Can external guests visit Stadtschenke?

Of course. Stadtschenke is open to both hotel guests and external visitors. Whether for an after-work drink, an evening with friends or a cocktail after dinner, you are very welcome.

Can I reserve a table at Stadtschenke?

For regular bar visits, we do not accept table reservations. Simply stop by and enjoy your evening spontaneously at Stadtschenke.

For larger groups, however, it is possible to book Stadtschenke or the Clubroom exclusively for your event. This allows you to enjoy the space privately and plan your evening individually.

Can bar charges be added to my hotel room?

No. Restaurant and bar charges must be paid directly on site and cannot be charged to your hotel room.

You can pay by cash, debit card or credit card.

Where is Stadtschenke located?

Stadtschenke is located inside the Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim, directly on the historic market square and next to Restaurant Gildehaus.

The public “Marktgarage” underground car park is located directly beneath our hotel. Access is via Jakobistraße.
