Wine Festival 2026

From May 13th to 17th, Hildesheim's market square will once again transform into a vibrant meeting place for wine lovers. Winemakers, wine merchants, and restaurateurs will present wines from all over Germany, inviting visitors to discover the diversity and enjoy the special atmosphere in the city center. If you're looking for something different, you'll find it right on the market square: at the Stadtschenke (city tavern), we'll open our green doors from 5 pm onwards from Wednesday to Saturday and serve freshly tapped beer. Easy, direct, and right in the heart of the action. Whether you need a quick refreshment between the stalls or a relaxed meeting place in the evening – we offer the perfect alternative to the wine festival.
