Cycling Tours

Cycle your way through the beautiful region surrounding Hildesheim and through the Weser River hill country. The different cycling routes routes in the region and the HI-RING bike path circling Hildesheim invite you to discover the area up close for a real experience.

Bicycle rentals

Four Van der Valk bicycles are available to our guests for use free of charge for short trips around the city. Please reserve the bikes at the hotel reception desk in advance or during your stay with us. Subject to availability.

For cycling tours you can rent bicycles from "Fahrrad-Ritzel", a bicycle shop at Osterstrasse 31, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Opening times: Monday to Friday: 9 am to 6 pm, 
Saturday: 9 am to 1 pm, closed Sundays

Bicycle stalls

There are four bicycle stalls located between our hotel and the Hildesheim City Administration Building to keep your own, or a rental bike, safe and dry.
